The Oshiveli trawler, equipped by NAUTICAL, sets sail towards Walvis Bay
On 17 November the “Oshiveli” trawler, construction V-112 of Armón Vigo Shipyard for Tunacor Ltd. of Namibia, sailed from Vigo after carrying out its navigation and fishing tests, in demand of what will be its base port, Walvis Bay.
The “Oshiveli”, whose name means firstborn, is the first ship of new construction that will join the great fishing fleet of Namibia. It is a very modern vessel in terms of design and equipment. It will work both as a factory-freezer and with fresh fish to be processed on land. Without a doubt, it will mark a milestone in the fleet of its country.
NAUTICAL is especially proud of the work carried out on this vessel and feels very honored to have been chosen as the supplier and installer of electronic navigation, fishing and communications equipment.
Good luck to the “Oshiveli” in all the voyages that await him!
